Babcia-approved books that sing
From Pieski małe dwa to Ta Dorotka, the songs Polish families have sung for generations. Performed and illustrated by native speaking artists.
My grandchildren love the Polish songs (I'm Polish, my two grandchildren are born in the USA) so I had to order a second set so they don't steal from each other! Good luck with your wonderful and thoughtful business!"

What fueled your creativity for the Polish collection?
"Herbal tea with honey… and an embarrassing amount of pierniczki (spiced cookies). Every time I just took one, three magically disappeared. Pure artistic process!"
How did you choose the color palette?
"I mixed colors the way you mix memories. A bit of folk patterns here, a bit of sunshine there. I wanted the palette to feel like opening a childhood drawer full of crayons: slightly chaotic, very warm, and impossible not to smile at."
Which song was the most fun to illustrate?
"Definitely Pieski małe dwa! I had the perfect model at home, my own Easter egg with a wagging tail (a bull terrier named BMO), who proudly made it into the illustration."
