A Russian Language Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt
I love incorporating new and old traditions into our holiday celebrations! As a mixed-faith family, we do a little something to celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year's in our home. It's super fun to introduce our kids to different traditions and cultures and read about ones that we may not celebrate. One tradition we've had fun with this year is our Elf on the Shelf.
While I used to have a rule about no more than 2 minutes on the Elf each night, this year, the kids' excitement and joy in searching for the Elf has had me change my tune. I'm still keeping it simple, but I'm also finding it super fun to get him ready. Scavenger hunts have been a favorite, and while I started with English ones, I figured we needed to make Elfie bilingual!
I asked my mom and dad for help writing up some Russian language clues, and they came through! Feel free to print them out and use them at home! Would love your elf inspiration too!
